As a general rule, we recommend 3 weeks notice. We cannot guarantee, however, that this timeframe will secure you a spot. The sooner you place an order, the better.
Unfortunately, we do not have a storefront. The Cake Insider is a private, home-based cake studio.
As each design is custom, there are no fixed prices, there is a minimum order of $150.00. Buttercream covered cakes begin at $5.00 per serving. Fondant covered cakes begin at $6.00 per serving. Beginning prices are based on basic cake flavors (Chocolate and Vanilla). Cupcakes start at $3.25 for basic cupcake flavors with buttercream only. Gourmet cupcake flavors start at $3.50 with buttercream only. The final price of your cake/cupcakes will depend on flavors, design and sugar art. Mini Cupcakes $18.00 per dozen. Embossed iced sugar cookies $4.00 each with a minimum order quantity of 24. Personalize your cookie any way you wish! Choose your desired shape and color to perfectly match your event styling. When placing the order please add your desired generic text (top line maximum characters 12, bottom line maximum of 10, including spaces). Payment is due in full 2 weeks before the scheduled pick-up date for small (2 tiers or less) celebration cakes. For 3 tiers or more, final payment is due 30 days before the event date. A 50% non-refundable retainer is due at time of booking along with a signed contract to officially book your date.
Our standard cake servings are 1″ wide x 2″ deep and 5- 5.5” in height per tier.

Pick-up times for cakes two tiers or less is scheduled at the customer convenience at the time an order is placed.
Unfortunately, we do not have the capacity to offer these options. Our cakes are prepared in a kitchen where the equipment, at some point, has come into contact with nut/gluten/dairy.
Keep your cake cool and refrigerated. Avoid placing in direct sunlight. We recommend removing your cake from the fridge approximately 1 hour prior to consumption. It is best served at room temperature.
Keep the cake box on the floor of your car and make sure the air conditioning is on. Before transporting, please ensure the cake is well refrigerated.
